Trial by Fire is a section devoted entirely to very obscure games, or games that were highly criticized by reviewers, or both. It might be an indie game, or a triple-A flop, but I’ll punish myself play them to see if the complaints are justified. Maybe I’ll even end up singing high praise for a game that no one else will. Mount & Blade got reviews ranging from mediocre to terrible, yet I loved every bit of it and it’s the highest-rated game on Sanctuary! You never know, that piece of crap on Metacritic with an overall average of 50% might dethrone my highest rated games!
